Figures and tables can be inserted from the Figure field of your EndNote references into your Word document. Use the Figures and Tables tab to determine placement of the in-text images in your Word document.
Select the appropriate button to:
Always place each figure or table immediately after the paragraph where it is first referenced, or
Keep each existing figure or table in its current position when you re-generate the figure list.
The settings here override settings in the current output style. If your output style is set to print figures and tables in a list at the end of the document, the settings on this tab are ignored. However, if your output style is set to print figures and tables in-text, you can use this tab to override settings when you have moved your figures around in your document and want to retain their placement.
To determine the initial placement of figures and tables with your output style, use the Figures Panel, Tables Panel, and Separation and Punctuation Panel.
